We, the people in Taiwan should know better about how freedom and liberty are earned, they do not just simply exist, and so as universal suffrage and rights on recall votes or well-designed health care system. We earned them the hardest way.
2020 has been very eventful, not in a good way, however.
After a series of man-made/nature disasters, China unfortunately eventually found their way to make this year unlivable for people in Hong Kong by coming up with a National Security Law, one that has shown that the iron curtain has put Hong Kong in a dark shadow; one that was put in place by abusing Hong Kong government’s authority.
It’s no secret that the Chinese government since the outbreak of Coronavirus has been trying to cover their bare asses by creating other man-made disasters such as waging wars against the governments and people of the U.S., Taiwan, and India; blaming other countries for the cause of Coronavirus. It is no doubt that China is trying to create madness on all fronts in order to cover every single wrongdoing they have brought to the world, furthermore, with the Hong Kong National Security Law, the Chinese government aims to capture everyone in the world who badmouth about its corrupted Communist under dictatorship governmental system.
Even every Karen (link) in the world know the Chinese are crazy and out of control; even more, if you go and ask every Karen’s ideas on Communist China, they would probably say something like Chinese people are ignorant, stereotypical, racist, etc. and Karens will most likely to be absolutely right for a change.
The latest poll shows that if there is ever a chance Taiwan is inevitable to face a war against China, 67.7% of the people on the island of Taiwan would be willing to fight back, while at this point of time, even the KMT is dropping one 92 Consensus different interpretation non-sense.
We, the people in Taiwan, should know China better than any other country in the world that a closer relationship with China won’t go too far, it only leads Taiwan to become a territory of China without being respected by other countries; whereas a closer relationship with the U.S. will more likely extend Taiwan’s visibility on the global front. To be quite honest, Taiwan in no way wants to be next Hong Kong.
We, the people in Taiwan should know better about how it is like to live under a dictatorship and martial laws because we had gone through 38 years of that horror in the past, we should be more empathize with current and future people of Hong Kong.
We, the people in Taiwan should know better about how freedom and liberty are earned, they do not just simply exist, and so as universal suffrage and rights on recall votes or well-designed health care system. We earned them the hardest way.
Now, all these rights had been taken away from the people of Hong Kong, it is time for us to choose sides and be clear than ever to know the unreliability and aggression of the Chinese government, and to be done with it.
